Day 3

Nova Scotia’s favourite festival is excited to announce its return to the Halifax and Dartmouth waterfronts from July 31 to August 5, 2024.

With stages at the Halifax Seaport, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Sackville Landing, Foundation Wharf, and Dartmouth’s Alderney Landing, the 38th edition of Buskers will provide locals and visitors alike with exciting and unique entertainment.

Electrifying acts will provide six days of incredible performances, including: 2023’s People’s Choice winner and Halifax’s own Mighty Mike (CAN), Steve Goodtime (CAN), USA Breakdancers (USA), Mat Ricardo (UK), Gracie B (AUS/UK), Fraser Hooper (UK), Ruby Rubberlegs (AUS), Spring Action (CAN), Seb und Fritzzz (GER), Chris Blaze - The Fire Ninja (AUS), Les Vitamines (CAN), Pancho Libre (MEX), Clown Ida - Bubble Factory (ITA) and Silver Elvis (CAN)!

Beyond these incredible performers, Buskers will also feature the ever-popular East Coast Amusements midway at Alderney Landing, the Glow Party Family Fun Zone at Sands at Salter, plus a variety of vendors, food trucks, and fun!

The Halifax-Dartmouth Natal Day Harbour Fireworks will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:00 pm. Join us for the annual Natal Day Harbour Fireworks on Saturday evening.

There is now a map posted of the firework barge location, on our main page. However, we think the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal Park has the best view. While you're there check out the Crescendo Concert!

Halifax Harbour Bridges MACPASS Miles

Run the Bridge!

A family-friendly one mile race across the Macdonald Bridge.

A $10 registration fee for adults is donated to the Africville Museum.

Children run free!

There will be four races beginning at 9 am.

The August 4th races start on the Halifax side of the historic Macdonald bridge and end just short of the Dartmouth toll booths.

Women: 9:00am | Men: 9:30am | Girls: 10:00am| Boys: 10:30am

This year's Pepsi Natal Day Parade will start in Halifax at the Hydrostone, cross the Macdonald bridge and end in Dartmouth at Sullivan's Pond.
