POSTPONED DUE TO WET CONDITIONS Halifax Dartmouth Natal Day Harbour Fireworks

"Due to the wet conditions we are currently experiencing and the uncertainty of the weather forecast with the potential for fog this evening and combined with a very favourable weather forecast for Sunday, July 31st the Natal Day organizers and the Halifax Regional Municipality have made the decision to postpone the Natal Day Fireworks until Sunday, July 31st at 10 pm. See you then for an exciting show!"

 

The 2022 Halifax – Dartmouth Natal Day will be celebrated on Monday, August 1st, 2022. (Monday is a Holiday)

 

The Halifax Regional Municipality has worked with key stakeholders in the planning of the 2022 Natal Day program.

The following events are now confirmed: Halifax-Dartmouth Natal Day Harbour Fireworks (Sunday, July 31, @10PM); Macpass Bridge Mile (Sunday July 31, @8AM); 16th Annual African Nova Scotian Music Association 'Freedom Festival' (Sunday July 31, @2PM); Macdonald Bridge Walk (Sunday July 31st, @2PM); 114th Annual Dartmouth Natal Day Road Race (Monday, August 1, @8AM) 

 

The Natal Day organizers are happy to inform the general public that there will be a Pepsi Natal Day Parade on Monday August 1 @10AM. This year's Pepsi Natal Day Parade will start in Halifax at the Hydrostone, cross the Macdonald bridge and end in Dartmouth at Sullivan's Pond. Join the 2022 Grand Parade Marshalls (United African Canadian Women's Association) 'Grand Emancipation Day Parade' under the theme: "Remembering our Past and Celebrating our Future"
